i moved all my stuff for making things into the spare bedroom in hopes of being super busy soon and therefore (being in the spare room - aka kat's room) being able to leave stuff out, instead of having to put it all away out of the reach of little hands whenever i make something.  hurrah!

i just got a new santa nesting doll in the mail.  not in as good shape as i was hoping but it is still nice..
